Crystal Graening is a graduate student in nurse education at the University of Mary. Crystal earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Mayville State University. In her current role as an RN Clinical Educator, Crystal develops and delivers education to orientate new hires to the organization, teaches multiple ongoing educational sessions, and facilitates nurse residency. She works closely with the multidisciplinary teams in her areas of service and provides support at the enterprise level for the professional development of nurses. Crystal's clinical experience includes eight years at the bedside, working in a wide variety of adult acute care settings, most recently as a float nurse. Her passion is caring for adults, especially older adults, and her research focus has been preparing nursing students to better care for the older adult population within the acute care setting through education.
